My Story... so far

Hi, I'm Summer!

I'm a "jack of all trades" with skills in veterinary nursing, karate, art, teaching, and more. I'm a proud mum to both fur babies and human babies. Since motherhood came into the picture, balancing work commitments has been a challenge. Living in a small coastal town meant limited, if any, childcare vacancies. Instead of feeling discouraged about not being able to return to work due to my main role as a mum, I saw it as a sign from the universe—not just to savour motherhood more, but also to finally pursue a long-time dream of mine: starting my own business. After all, I truly believe that in times of challenge, there are always hidden opportunities

I've always had a passion for jewellery and swimwear, and it's something that’s always been in the back of my mind as a business goal. While some people buy bags and shoes, I buy bikinis. At one point, I owned 37 pairs of swimsuits! It was clear to me that this is what I had to do! Start from scratch, creating something of my own.

With a love for gemstones and gold, I began handcrafting jewellery from home in beautiful Yamba, Australia. Now, I'm working toward developing sustainable swimwear featuring my own art designs in the near future (a slower than usual process when your only spare time is during nap time). As a surfer myself, I want to create swimwear that’s not only cute, comfortable, and practical, but also environmentally friendly. After all, our planet and our future matter.
